Kolin Turkish Classical Music Choir

In line with our understanding of social responsibility, we selected Turkish Art Music as the theme for our 2013 events. Accordingly we launched a new project, the Kolin Turkish Classical Music Choir, in October 2012 to popularize, develop and celebrate Turkish Art Music, which is part of our cultural heritage. We started an amateur choir under Mr. Haşan Eylen, one of the conductors of TRT Ankara Radio, and gathered young people who have devoted themselves to this music. Before we started the choir, we informed several universities that our Company would provide scholarships to talented students who joined the choir. Our project was met with enthusiasm by the universities and all necessary support was confirmed to be provided. As a result of this collaboration and the guidance of the universities, talented students who were studying and devoted to Turkish Music (Turkish Art Music or Turkish Folk Music) were included in the choir. Kolin Constructon endeavors to helps this friendly choir develop into a qualified ensemble composed of quality voices that can carry Turkish Classical Music to the future. We take great delight in this social responsibility project and continue our efforts to showcase Turkish Music to young people, to equip them with everything they need to produce great and memorable works, and to bring new young voices to Turkish Art Music.
