Construction of Filyos Port

Filyos Port is designed with a multipurpose approach to serve dry cargo, general cargo and container ships. The aim is to handle 25 million tonnes of dry & general cargo and 2 million TEU containers annually. The first stage of the project was completed with a total production of main and secondary breakwaters. In accordance with the plans concerning water depth, 23 million cubic meters was dredged from the port.

Following completion of the first stage, Filyos Port became the regional logistics facility of TPAO, which continues its natural gas drilling operations in the Black Sea.
